| Abel Tasman Educational Trust (ATET) is
Charitable Trust that was established in 1988 by a group of community
minded individuals who wished to ensure that training opportunities
were available locally. It is run by a Board of Trustees and a team of dedicated staff. The Trustees volunteer their time and offer support and expertise to help the Trust run effectively. The staff are all people who are committed to making a positive difference in the community, and in the lives of the people who come to ATET. ATET has been registered with New Zealand Qualifications Authority since 1992 as a Private Training Establishment and offering accredited training since 1995. This training provides an excellent foundation for higher education or employment. ATET staff are actively involved in fostering strong community networks and providing links with employers and industries that enable comprehensive pathways to employment. |
