| A range of art mediums are used to explore and develop your own individual artistic style. These include drawing and design, clay, harekeke, screen printing, cement sculpture, bone and Oamaru stone carving. Work experience and visits to practicing artists is also included as part of the course. As part of your personal development we include unit standards from the NZQA framework and will help with updating your CV, careers advise and job search skills. We provide a friendly caring and supportive learning environment using teaching methods that facilitate success to help you achieve your goals. Assistance with the cost of travel to course is available, and help with reading and writing skills where necessary. |
