Diana joined the ATET tutor team in April 2009 to tutor the Tourism and Customer Services course. She has excellent experience in working with adult learners and brings a wide knowledge with her across a number of fields. Her previous position was with the Veterinary Nurse programme at NMIT as programme manager.
Diana has developed an interesting programme that is varied and challenging.

Mary is the most experienced tutor at ATET, having worked here for about 12 years. She is currently the tutor for Work Based Training and loves helping students experience their dream job. Mary

 Rosemary  
   
   
Rosemary is the tutor responsible for the Driving programmes. She has a background in teaching and road safety education. She has heaps of contacts in the driving industry and can help trainees make connections for future job possibilities. As a qualified driving instructor she can train and assess drivers for a range of licenses and endorsements.

Rosemary is also Coordinating Tutor for ATET's new course, Up and Going.

Samantha, often known as Sam, joined the ATET team in March 2007. She role at ATET is as a Youth Worker on Conservation Plus.

Since starting at ATET she has joined the Mountain Safety Council and is a member of the Nelson Youth Workers Collective.

Paul first came to ATET as a Conservation Corps student and is now a Youth Worker with Conservation Plus. He loves the outdoors and enjoys working with young people who like to be active and work on conservation projects and enjoy our National Parks. Paul

 Jane  
   
   
Jane has been teaching Art and Design at ATET for many years now. She has tremendous experience in many different art modalities and in her class teaches a variety of mediums including oamaru stone, mosaics and screen printing. Jane loves working with people and seeing them flourish. Jane

 Stuart  
   
   
Stuart is a tutor at the Alternative Education Unit, working with a group of young people from the Motueka High School.

In his spare time he carves and teaches karate along with volunteering at many different activities.He holds a karate black belt and also teaches the kids' karate group.

Don manages the native nursery at ATET. We only grow locally sourced seeds from plants which are native to the region.
Many of our plants are used for planting in restoration projects and we have recently entered into an agreement with Dept of Conservation through the Community Conservation Fund to restore a site around Holyoake Stream, by the Otuwhero Inlet Marahau.

Don has specialised skills and knowledge in mycorrhizal symbiosis.

ATET facilitates education about mycorrhizas with free practical workshops for individuals, community groups & commercial operations.

 Gloria  
   
   
Gloria is the Finance Administrator and is usually the person who answers the phone. She keeps our accounts straight and helps the tutors out when they need some administration work to be done. Gloria

 Kevin  
   
   
Kevin is the groundsman at ATET. He mows the lawns and keeps he garden tidy and does other odd jobs to keep us shipshape.

He also works with Don in the nursery and keeps it looking tidy and the plats healthy and growing well.
